The world’s highest alfresco bar is found in Singapore, and it’s none other than 1-Altitude, an establishment owned by the One Rochester Group. The 1-Altitude Gallery and Bar is found on the top level of 63 of One Raffles Place. Up there, you’ll be welcome with an unobstructed 360-degree view of Singapore from a chic roof-top viewing gallery protected by glass panes.
The view from 1-Altitude is awe-inspiring, and is especially gorgeous when the sun is setting. When you are up there taking in the sights, you will also feel the strong winds at 282 metres above sea level gush over your head. Sometimes, the entire 63rd floor is covered in low-lying clouds!
There’s a strict dress code (for men) at 1-Altitude, and that means no shorts, no flip-flops, and no slippers.
Where’s 1-Altitude? It has a location right smack in the Central Business District (CBD) and the nearest MRT station is Raffles Place MRT Station (it’s right next to it actually).
